In an interview with one of his many state-owned media outlets, Russian President Vladimir Putin claimed NATO countries were already “taking part” in military action because they’re supplying defenders in Ukraine against the Russian invasion, with the NATO’s “one goal: to disband the former Soviet Union and its fundamental part … the Russian Federation.”
Per Politico, the man who ordered the invasion of a neighboring sovereign nation claimed Western aid to support Ukraine’s defenders repelling Russian invasions were actually an attempt to support “this new world that is taking shape [and] being built only in the interests of just one country, the United States. I do not even know if such an ethnic group as the Russian people will be able to survive in the form in which it exists today.”
The false narrative of outsiders trying to dismantle the amassed power of the majority ethnic group is one frequently touted by Fox host and Putin fan Tucker Carlson, who claims everyone from Black Americans to Central American migrants to “the people who control the media”–i.e., the Jews–are replacing white people in the US.
