According to PennLive, Just Born shut down production in spring due to the coronavirus pandemic. It reopened in mid-May with safety protocols in place, requiring it to cut back production. The company made the choice to forego production of other holidays to concentrate on Easter candies, when they made their most revenue.
“We look forward to offering our fun seasonal shapes and packaging at all major seasons again beginning with Halloween of 2021,” Just Born said in a statement. “We appreciate your interest in Just Born’s iconic candy brands, and we look forward to being a part of seasonal traditions again next year!”
