Pennsylvania Capitol rioter Robert Sanford, a retired firefighter who last year pleaded guilty to beating a cop over the head with a fire extinguisher during the insurrection and later (supposedly) hired a “cult deprogramming expert” to talk him out of believing MAGA conspiracy bullshit, was sentenced on Tuesday to 52 months in the tombs for his crime, NBC’s Ryan Reilly reports.
