Supreme Court allows for-profit college settlement

The US Supreme Court on Thursday allowed a $6 billion settlement erasing in debt owed by former students of mostly for-profit colleges who said they were misled by schools about academics and job prospects, Reuters reports. The case is separate from the one a bunch of MAGA attorneys general brought against the Biden Administration to wipe out $20,000 in student debt for borrowers.
