A “career IRS Criminal Supervisory Special Agent” is seeking whistleblower protections before disclosing information they have regarding the agency’s investigation into Hunter Biden, the President’s son, NBC News reports. Speaking through an attorney, the unnamed agent claims they have information that will directly contradict testimony given by a senior agency official, a political appointee, gave before a Congressional committee. The agent also says they can provide evidence that issues such as conflicts of interest with some of the investigators have not been resolved.
