The US Air Force announced it suspended two senior officers in the unit where Airman Jack Teixeira was stationed and from which he illegally removed classified documents he put online, NBC News reports.
The commander of the 102nd Intelligence Wing of the Massachusetts Air National Guard was suspended from duty, and a detachment commander was also removed. Their suspension are “pending further investigation into the unauthorized disclosure of classified information” by Teixeira, who allegedly removed classified information over months and posted it on various gamer channels.
