According to Elon Musk, “blue check” Twitter subscribers will be limited to viewing 6,000 tweets per day, while non-paying users will get just 600 daily for the indeterminate future as the social media platform wages battle against companies that collect information posted by users, the Washington Post reports.
Musk also instituted a rule that users must be signed in to accounts to view tweets, preventing people from simply clicking on a link and viewing the information on Twitter. Users who join after the announcement was made Saturday will be limited to 300 views per day. Just another reminder that you can’t exercise your “free speech rights” when someone else controls the spigot.
