“I think that this should be concerning to all Americans that this is attempt the Biden family corruption. I mean, Mr. Weiss is the single architect over that sweetheart plea agreement deal that the judge in Delaware threw out just a few weeks ago as saying it was off and unfair. There were provisions within that, that sweetheart plea deal that granted complete immunity to Hunter Biden for these crimes and future crimes, and she’s even stated she’s never seen anything like that before, and who was the architect of that? Now the person who, Garland, who President Biden’s Justice Department just appointed to be special counsel [but who was named a US Attorney by Donald Trump]. I am very fearful that appointing the special counsel is just an attempt to stonewall Congress’s investigation of the Biden family.”
The judge in Delaware didn’t say the deal was “off and unfair.” She had questions about the scope and the involvement of the court in supervising compliance; Hunter Biden canceled the deal when the discrepancy was raised, so House Ways & Means Committee chair Jason Smith is lying there. In fact, the poorly written agreement did not grant “complete immunity;” that’s what Hunter wanted, and he was not granted that. And no plea deal covers “future crimes.”
Finally, the GOP demanded a special counsel for the Hunter Biden investigation. Now that one’s been appointed, they’re the dog who caught the car and doesn’t know what to complain about now.
Why hasn’t DOJ appointed a special counsel for the Hunter Biden investigation? https://t.co/Q17LbQ0sMw
