At least 93 people have been confirmed dead in the horrific inferno that struck the historic town of Lahaina, Hawaii last week, making it the deadliest wildfire in the US in more than a century, surpassing the 2018 Paradise, California blaze that killed 85, the Honolulu Star-Advertiser reports.
As many as 1,500 people remain unaccounted for, but God willing the “missing” are simply scattered in shelters and what not rather than having been burned up in the conflagration.
