In excerpts of his prepared opening statement obtained by CNN ahead of his testimony Wednesday to the House Judiciary Committee GOP led by spandex wearing grapple-freak Jim Jordan, Attorney General Merrick Garland is expected to tell them that he’s “not the President’s lawyer… I will also add that I am not Congress’s prosecutor. The Justice Department works for the American people.”
Garland will continue with his other greatest hits like how it’s his job “to pursue justice, without fear or favor” and not “do what is politically convenient” or “take orders from the President, from Congress, or from anyone else about who or what to criminally investigate.”
