A new USA Today/Suffolk University survey of likely voters in Kent County, Michigan finds Vice President Kamala Harris leading convicted felon former President Trump 47 to 46 percent, while the statewide race is tied at 47 percent each. The pollster apparently oversampled Kent as a “bellwether” since Trump beat Hillary 48 to 45 percent in the county in 2016 while Biden took it 52 to 46 percent. But USA Today seems a little meh on what it means, writing “The results are within the poll’s 5.7 percentage point margin of error, meaning her lead could have happened by chance.”
