Newsmax anchor Ed Henry, who used to be a Fox News guy until he was fired in 2020 for having sexually abused a producer over the course of years, has been hit with a restraining order by the victim of said abuse as part of her lawsuit against the sick fuck, the Independent reports.

Henry must stay at least 500 feet away from former Fox Business News producer Jen Eckhart at all times as well as relinquish any and all firearms he owns. It’s that second part that makes it sure sound like the judge thinks her case against the scumbag is very solid. Echkart seems to think so.

“The predator who thought he owned me is about to face the woman who can’t be broken – this time, in front of a jury,” Eckhart said in a statement to the Independent. “Today, I was granted an Order of Protection – not just for myself, but for my family and loved ones being targeted through legal harassment. Survivors should never have to shield their families from the very system meant to protect them. Soon, he – and the institution that protected him – will be forced to reckon with the truth they tried to bury.” The “institution” meaning Fox News, Henry’s co-defendant in the lawsuit.

Eckhart alleged Henry forced oral sex at Fox News headquarters in 2015 and violently raped her in a Manhattan hotel room in 2017 while she was handcuffed to the bed, among other horrible shit, and yeah, he was and still is married to wife Shirley Hung the whole time this was going on.

Fox News is not and never will be a good actor in virtually any situation, this one almost certainly included, going by their history. They probably really did stonewall Eckhart and ignore her until they couldn’t. However they still fired him when they knew it was untenable to keep him on the air.

Relative to Newsmax, who almost certainly know everything Fox knows about the accusations against Henry and then they fucking hired him? Yeah, they manage to look like a healthy, competently managed organization in comparison to their smaller rival propaganda network.
