This week’s Economist/YouGov national survey finds almost completely identical numbers among Trump 2024 voters and Harris 2024 voters on the question of “Should the government release all the documents that it has about the Jeffrey Epstein case?” at 83 and 86 percent Yes respectively, 2 and 3 percent No respectively, and just a slightly higher weasely “Don’t know” among Trump voters at 14 to 11 percent of the should-be president’s voters during the July 11 to 14th survey period.
There was however a bigger spilt on “Do you think the government is covering up evidence it has about Epstein?” with Trump and Harris voters at 81 and 59 percent Yes respectively, 3 and 12 percent No respectively, and nearly twice as many Trump voters at 29 percent to Harris voters at 16 percent at “Don’t know,” quantifying to obvious “Here there be dragons” feeling in MAGAmerica.
