You don’t need to parse very carefully what FBI Director Kash Patel told Sean Hannity on Thursday to understand that he and his fellow Trump minions are already giving up on accountability for what the fat fuck was last month calling the “CRIME OF THE CENTURY” before and after the 2016 election. Still worth flagging this part: “So the best approach is to release this information with them and also go to our colleagues in Congress” to point out that pretending elected federal legislators are members of a separate and coequal branch of the government is so last year. Now they’re just a notch above “team members,” kind of like Target corporate comms refers to part-time cashiers.
Anyway Kash says these “colleagues” have “an oversight function on the Judiciary Committees and Oversight Committees and demand from us information and documentation that we can publicize, things like the Durham Annex” and blah blah blah which is a long and stupid and very much intentionally obfuscatory way of saying FBI agents are not going to be perp-walking Hillary Clinton or Adam Schiff anytime soon. It’s more about symbolic accountability for these villains, lol.
