During Fire Prevention Week (Oct 5-11), customers who order from participating franchise-owned and corporate Domino’s stores throughout the US may be surprised when their delivery arrives accompanied by a fire engine. If the smoke alarms in the home are working, the pizza is free.”
“If the smoke alarms are not working, the firefighters will replace the batteries or install fully functioning alarms,” says a Domino’s press release unsubtly promoting ordering pizza rather than making your own at home, which is a much greater fire safety hazard.
