In his ongoing preparation for his Administration, President-elect Joe Biden has named additional staff for his team, according to the Washington Post:
- Mala Adiga will be the policy director for Jill Biden. She currently works for the Biden Foundation as Director for Higher Education and Military Families and she was previously Deputy Assistant Secretary of State for Academic Programs;
- Carlos Elizondo will be White House Social Secretary. He served during the Obama Administration as Special Assistant to the President and Social Secretary to then-Vice President & Dr. Biden;
- Cathy Russell will serve as director of the White House Office of Presidential Personnel. She was was the United States Ambassador-at-Large for Global Women’s Issues during the Obama Administration.
- Louisa Terrell will be director of the White House Office of Legislative Affairs. Terrell was Counselor to the Chairman of the Federal Communications Commissions from 2015-17; Deputy General Counsel and Head of Public Affairs for McKinsey & Co; and the Executive Director of the Biden Foundation from 2017 to 2019.
