Newsmax beats Fox News in ratings for the first time ever

In a first, Newsmax beat a competing Fox News program in the key 25-54 age demographic on Monday, the first time Newsmax has ever beaten Fox News in a ratings measure, CNN reports.

“Greg Kelly Reports” on Newsmax beat the competing 7 p.m. ET program on Fox News, “The Story with Martha MacCallum,” by 229,000 to 203,000. Both programs were beat out by CNN’s Erin Burnett (423,000) and MSNBC’s Joy Reid (280,000).

Joy Reid’s MSNBC show, “The ReidOut,” won the timeslot in overall viewers with more than 1.9 million viewers.

Fox News has taken a beating in the ratings as Trumpublicans abandon the network for being insufficiently loyal to outgoing president Donald Trump.
