Wisconsin Republican Congressman Glenn Grothman – the guy famous for saying Black Lives Matter “doesn’t like the old-fashioned family” – introduced the “Ending Critical Race Theory in D.C. Public Schools Act”, Jessie Opoien of the Capital Times reported Friday. The act is pretty self-explanatory, as is the fact that a Wisconsin hick says he should be deciding what a public school system whose students are 67% Black can teach them about American history.
Atlantic writer Adam Serwer summed it up pretty well in a reply to Opoien: “If you would never in a million years even send your kid to a DC public school you should probably shut the fuck up about what gets taught in them,” adding “And before the morons show up, I went to DCPS and I loved it.”
