On an appearance on The 11th Hour with Brian Willaims, Jasper County, Indiana emergency room physician Stephen Sample held up his version of “the manual” President Trump referred to in his interview with Axios’ Jonathan Swann.
In the Axios interview, Trump said, “There are those who say, ‘you can test too much’–you know that?”
“Who says that?” Swann questioned.
Trump shot back, “Read the manuals. Read the books.”
Puzzled, Swann replied, “Manuals? What manuals? What books?”
On Williams’ show, however, Dr. Sample was ready, saying he got an advance copy of the manual. “It’s called ‘How to ‘Rona by Science,” Sample tells Williams.
“If you open it and you skip past the Demon Semen and the hydroxycloroquine, you get to the testing, under the T’s,” Sample lampooned. “First, you get to the ‘take no responsibility’ and then you see, ‘Maybe if they don’t test, maybe they’ll just forget about it.”
“That’s the manual, as far as I can tell,” Sample said.
Turning serious, Sample said, “Well, no. Nobody’s complaining about too many tests, Brian. We don’t have enough tests. That’s why we are where we are.”
