After shocking people by raising more than $30 million in new donations in the first six months of the year, Donald Trump’s Make America Great Again Action PAC raised just $1.5 million since the beginning of July, according to New York Times’s Shane Goldmacher.
The money came primarily from three donors: $500,000 from banker Andrew Beal, $500,000 from casino owner Phil Ruffin, and $100,000 from Dallas businesswoman Carol Adams.
The Trump war chest has about $60 million cash on hand, with about $30 million of that coming from a transfer of funds from his losing 2020 campaign.
