Lame “free speech” Twitter clone GETTR, founded by former Trump spokesworm and deadbeat dad Jason Miller, recently let go of its entire IT and cybersecurity teams, as well as two top executives amid serious cashflow issues, the Washington Examiner reports. “In all honesty, in all my years of doing cybersecurity, I’ve never seen a company this poorly run from business operations all the way to IT,” a former GETTR engineer told the Examiner. “It looks like a high school operation.”
MAGA social media platforms haven’t been doing so great lately as traffic dies down when right wingers realize it’s not as much fun to be able to post whatever hateful shit they want when there are little to no libs reacting to it. Couple that with the expected launch of Trump’s TRUTH Social network in the next few weeks and it seems the hour is nigh for Parler, Gab, and GETTR. It’s a pretty safe bet that at least one of them won’t make it to 2023.
