Trump legal shitbrain Rudy Giuliani is negotiating the terms of cooperating with the House January 6th Select Committee, two sources tell the Guardian, a move that would mark a major win for the investigation should the incompetent former New York City mayor not be simply screwing around and trying to get Trump to finally pay his legal bills by threatening to cooperate.
Giuliani’s conditions reportedly include his appearance before the panel to be non-pursuant to a subpoena and does not violate any attorney-client relationship with the Donald, focusing more on the involvement of other players, including members of Congress. Rudy is however willing to speak about his interactions with Trump where the attorney-client protections would have been broken – as in the potential commission of a crime – with the committee. The conditions are in line with a recent Newsmax appearance in which Rudy falsely claimed the committee does not have the legal authority to issue a subpoena, leaving out to the right wing audience he was currently negotiating cooperation outside of the purview of a subpoena, a distinction that would surely be lost on the MAGA assholes who will be calling for his head on a pike if he flips even partially.
