Meet Republican Tennessee state senator Frank Niceley of Strawberry Plains, a central Tennessee town of 4,600 residents and one fan of a genocidal madman. Frank wants us to know people can work their way out of homelessness because someone named—-[checks notes]—HITLER did.
“I want to give you a little lesson on homelessness. In NINETEEN and TEN, Hitler decided to live on the streets for awhile, so for two years, Hitler lived on the streets and practiced his oratory, his body language and how to connect with citizens and then went on to lead a life that got him into history books. So a lot of these people, it’s not a dead end. They can come out of these homeless camps and have a productive life. Or in Hitler’s case, a very unproductive life.”
