Legendary baseball announcer Vin Scully dies at age 94

The longtime voice of the Los Angeles Dodgers who announced games for the team for two-thirds of a century, Vin Scully, has died at the age of 94, ESPN reports.

Scully served as a radio broadcaster for the team for eight years when the Dodgers still played in Brooklyn before moving with the team to Los Angeles in 1958. He started his career in broadcasting as a college football announcer in 1948.
