A Utah Valley University school official tells NBC’s Tom Winter that there is no suspect in custody after the fatal shooting of MAGA activist Charlie Kirk. An older man who was taken into custody near the scene has been released and it’s not clear how he was misidentified as the shooter. The assassin fired at Kirk from a rooftop roughly 200 yards away and holy shit how the hell are they going to find this guy if it’s been two hours and he had time to blend in with the crowd… This isn’t like the attempt on Trump from last year where the Secret Service blasted him immediately and there was all this photo evidence where cops could piece together what happened.

“The Great, and even Legendary, Charlie Kirk, is dead. No one understood or had the Heart of the Youth in the United States of America better than Charlie. Charlie Kirk dead at 31 until reported otherwise. In the unlikely event he survives he will all but certainly be severely disabled for the rest of his life. Until it’s confirmed let’s just leave it off with Kirk’s own words from a May 29, 2022 tweet: “Gun control, like vaccines and masks, is focused on making people feel ‘safe’ by taking freedoms away from others. Don’t fall for it.”

That was a few days after the Uvalde school massacre that killed 22 kids around the age of 10.
