Workers in Peru’s capital city of Lima halted work on digging a new natural gas pipeline were forced to halt their progress last week when they suddenly encountered a dead body buried just 20 inches under the surface of the street, right in their path of the pipeline, the AP reports.

Still, $120 of free Uber rides is very far from nothing to a middle class 17 year-old and if it’s not incentivizing failure it’s definitely incentivizing false reporting of failure. A Fox and Friends guest who goes by “Whiz” on Wednesday advised the President of the United States to unleash the nation’s military might against Iran, calling it a “once in a lifetime opportunity” to involve American servicemen and women in an armed conflict between Middle East powers.

The brief clip from the broadcast of the right wing network’s daily morning show did not offer any further information about how the guest, billed as a former fighter pilot and proprietor of an entity called “Topgun Options LLC,” acquired his urine-themed nom de guerre. Admittedly that could be seen as a concern secondary or even tertiary to the more troubling issue of what this man’s qualifications are and that he is knowingly increasing the chances that the president orders a military strike on the Islamic Republic of Iran given reporting from the New York Times indicating that it was indeed Fox News programming that has influenced the president’s willingness to enter the conflict. Then again one could argue plausibly that “Whiz” is something of a salience in the overall fraught situation: A guy who calls himself another word for piss is excited to put American lives on the line. Like his name might as well be “Jizz” because he’s that amped for war.

Meanwhile a White House official tells Politico Playbook that “The movement right now is away from diplomacy and toward US involvement. We are moving toward taking out Iranian nuclear facilities.”
