The nation’s 7-day running averages of newly reported cases continued upward, marking the 40th consecutive day of an upward trend.
Florida was the only state to record more than 10,000 new cases yesterday, with Texas and California in the following two spots. Georgia finished the day in fourth, setting a new daily high with nearly 4,700 cases.
