People tend to know what they practice, and State Attorneys General and County DAs tend to know the laws of their own states best. Although all lawyers have some knowledge of the Code of Federal Regulations and the United States Code, along with some knowledge of Supreme Court precedent, I felt that presenting this outline in this indictment format may provide valuable assistance for communities where a lack of funding means there are few resources available for initiating legal research. I strongly encourage County District Attorneys who preside over our nation’s cities, and State Attorneys General to borrow freely from my arguments while preparing criminal complaints against the Department of Homeland Security.”
