Major League Baseball announced that today’s game between the New York Yankees and the Philadelphia Phillies will be canceled, the result of ten Miami Marlins players testing positive for coronavirus Sunday, when the Marlins played the Phillies, according to the Philadelphia Inquirer.
Sources also tell ESPN four more Marlins team members tested positive for the coronavirus, bringing the total on that one team to 17 players and coaches. It was not specified whether these new cases were players or coaches.
No Phillies players or staff have yet tested positive after the weekend three-game series.
