WHO reports highest single day new case count Sunday

The World Health Organization announced they’ve recorded the single highest one-day case increase of coronavirus cases worldwide since the pandemic began, the Washington Post reported.

The WHO registered 308,000 new cases on Sunday, with the United States, India and Brazil reported the most cases.

The WHO also warned that Europe will likely to see a spike in deaths due to COVID-19 in the coming weeks due to new outbreaks in countries like Spain and France.
