The Environmental Protection Agency has approved Pine-Sol as a disinfectant against the coronavirus on hard, non-porous surfaces, the Washington Post reports.
While President Trump has promoted the injection of disinfectants as a way to cure patients and prevent infections, however science overwhelmingly rejects that as a sure-fire way to commit self-harm and possibly death.
“Pine-Sol Original Multi-Surface Cleaner now offers the clean families have trusted through generations with the protection they need right now against the spread of SARS-Cov-2, the virus that causes COVID-19,” Chris Hyder, Clorox’s vice president and general manager of cleaning, said in the release.
But again for our MAGA-supporter readers: Use Pine-Sol and other disinfectants approved by the EPA to clean furnitures and counters. Do NOT use them on your body or ingest them in any way.
