The press memo from an internal poll conducted by GBAO Strategies for Dem Senate candidate Raphael Warnock’s campaign says “Biden leads Trump in Presidential contest. In another sign that Georgia is truly in play at the Presidential level this year, Democratic nominee Joe Biden leads President Trump here 49 – 46 percent in a head-to-head matchup.” The poll result also places Warnock in second place behind Loeffler in the all party race.
“This GBAO (D, possibly for Warnock) poll this morning has Warnock pushing into second in the GA senate special, and while we ought to wait for some nonpartisan confirmation I’ll note that a Warnock-Loeffler runoff seems pretty dangerous for the GOP” says NYT poll geek Nate Cohn.
