The White House will unveil the decorations during a press event next Monday, but announced “The First Lady will not be in attendance,” according to TheWrap. There was no announcement on where Melania Trump will be instead of the White House event.
The third Mrs. Trump has told friends she doesn’t like the trappings of her office. “I’m working … my ass off at Christmas stuff that you know, who gives a fuck about Christmas stuff and decoration? But I need to do it, right? Correct?” she said in a conversation taped by a former friend.
