Declaring that “Federal judges do not appoint the president in this county,” federal judges in the Eastern District of Wisconsin have dismissed the last “Kraken” lawsuit filed in the state.
“Federal judges do not appoint the president in this country. One wonders why the plaintiffs came to federal court and asked a federal judge to do so,” the order reads. “After a week of sometimes odd and often harried litigation, the court is no closer to answering the “why.” But this federal court has no authority or jurisdiction to grant the relief the remaining plaintiff seeks. The court will dismiss the case.”
The Court granted the defendants’ motions to dismiss the cases and deemed many issues that had to do with the counting and certification of the votes moot, given that it had already happened in a legal fashion.
The Court also dismissed outright the plaintiff’s “amended complaint for declaratory, emergency, and permanent injunctive relief,” it said in its order.
