About 500 people showed up for the first announced event for Trump supporters looking to disenfranchise millions of American voters, video from WUSA CBS-9 local reporter Mike Valero shows.

The video, posted at 2 p.m. ET, shows Freedom Plaza, the site of the first event that started at 1 p.m., with a sparse crowd covering less than half of the area, which can hold up to 7,000 people during a crowded rally.
Headline speakers at the Freedom Plaza event were scheduled to include MyPillow’s Mike Lindell, Georgia State Representative Vernon Jones and Global Vision Bible Church pastor Greg Locke.
Rain in the area may have kept many protesters at home or in hotels. Or perhaps it was a strong police and National Guard presence in the neighborhood.
Others among the conspiracy-savvy crowd posted on Twitter a pallet of bricks in front of a hotel under renovation, claiming that they were put there by “Deep State” actors working to help communist-antifa-godless-Biden-loving counterprotestors. “Watch your six!” one tweet warns.
