Hawley continues to deny insurrectionist attack at Capitol

Not only does Senator Josh Hawley (Bruh-MO) deny any responsibility for encouraging the insurrectionists who attacked the Capitol on January 6th, he’s now claiming that they were not actually insurrectionists.

Asked if he was complicit in the attacks, Hawley replied, “That’s outrageous.” Asked a follow up question about encouraging the “insurrectionists” with his first pump as he walked by, he responded, “Let me stop you right there. You called them insurrectionists,” before explaining that they were actually peaceful demonstrating exercising their First Amendment rights (apparently, before turning into a rabid mob of domestic terrorists attacking the Capitol).
