Showing her struttin’ like a wannabe supermodel in front of the Capitol with a guitar-heavy rock soundtrack, Congresswoman Lauren Boebert (Q-Colo.) released a new ad which ominously features two gunshots from a rifle after a challenge to Democratic Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi.
“You protect what you love,” Boebert declares, “and president Trump built a big, beautiful wall because he loves America.” (Trump actually built a few dozen miles of fence.) Calling the security around the Capitol “Fort Pelosi” but never mentioning that it was necessary because domestic terrorists encourage by Trump attacked the Capitol on January 6th, Boebert goes on to describe it, “where Democrats decry walls from inside their own razor-wire covered wall.” (Again, it’s a fence. This woman’s got to do better identifying structures.)
“It’s time to cut the crap and remember this is the People’s House, Madam Speaker! Tear down this wall.” (Again, it’s a fence.) A gunshot rings out as Boebert’s logo/signature appears on the screen, and then you hear a rifle cocking and firing again.
Boebert makes no mention of “unity” or “civility” in her ad.
