Kayleigh (Don’t Call Her Kelly) McEnerny says that the press corps during media briefings are tossing softball questions at White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki–questions about his dog, his cat, about the color scheme on Air Force One.
Nah. Kelly Kayleigh got really difficult questions like Is Trump glad the South lost the Civil War? Now, to a normal person, that should seem like a softball question that should elicit an emphatic Hell, yeah. The Confederate States and slavery needed to go. But when Kelly Kayleigh was asked the question, she responded, “Your first question is absolutely absurd. He is proud of the United States of America.” She never answers the question. The other issue is that no one who served as press secretary during the Trump administration had any credibility with the media. They lied constantly.
And if McEnerny doesn’t think she got softball questions, she forgets that she *always* took a question from an OAN reporter before leaving the podium. (My favorite, though, was the time she told a reporter they would have to ask the White House for an answer to his question. Note: she was White House Press Secretary.)
