Internet outage not just affecting Disqus

CNN, The New York Times, Vanity Fair, Reddit, New York Magazine, Gizmodo, Kotaku, the entire government of the United Kingdom and others are down. The Atlanta Journal Constitution reports the issue is with Amazon Web Services and Fastly, a cloud content delivery service.

National Zero obviously remains unaffected. It’s only when that CloudFlare piece of shit (which we don’t use, but is upstream with our host) goes down do we crash too.

UPDATE 6:41 AM EDT 6/8/2021: The New York Times, CNN, Vanity Fair, and Disqus are back up and running. We’ll see if anyone gets fired from AWS for this bullshit.
