“Multiple people were ejected from the Miami Marlins game Tuesday night after they hung signs supporting the Proud Boys and Donald Trump. Multiple photos showed the massive signs reading ‘Trump Won – Take Back America’ and ‘Proud Boys Did Nothing Wrong – Free All Political Prisoners 1/6/21’ unfurled at the game as the Marlins played the Colorado Rockies at loanDepot Park. A spokesperson for the team confirmed at least five people were ejected from the stadium after the signs violated the ballpark’s rules on banner size and messaging” NBC6 reports.
This is the second incident in as many days of Trump fanboys being ejected from a Marlins game for hanging oversize MAGA banners from the stands. On Monday, some jerkoffs were kicked out of Fenway for hanging a “Trump won” banner during Miami’s away game against the Boston Red Sox. Whether these petty acts of rebellion are some form of retaliation against Major League Baseball for relocating the 2021 All Star Game from Atlanta to Colorado in response to Georgia’s voter suppression laws remains to be seen, but it’s not really a boycott if they’re still buying tickets.
