Animated pile of bat guano and Fox News host Tucker Carlson literally laughs at the injuries a police officer experience during the January 6th domestic terrorist attack on the Capitol.

Saying that DC Metropolitan Police officer Michael Fanone should not be responsible for protecting people, even “people he doesn’t agree with in Washington, and that is unacceptable and that should make you very nervous”–even though police officers and federal security agents regularly disagree with the citizens they protect. 

“Watch Fanone’s psyche psychological [sic] trauma he endured”–brought on by being beaten and tazed to the point that he had multiple heart attacks–“as an excuse for ditching our Bill of Rights.”

Wait.. what?  Isn’t Carlson the one promoting violent overthrow of the Constitution?

Chuckling after breaking from an 8-second clip from Tuesday’s testimony by Fanone about his psychological trauma, Carlson goes on to insult and demean the officer’s sacrifice and work.  “No to, in any way, underplay the crimes that were committed on January 6th, and there were crimes committed on January 6th”–though he *just did* downplay those–“but compared to what?”–Carlson goes on in massive whataboutism.

“What’s interesting”–it’s not, really–“is that Michael Fanone didn’t mention experiencing any trauma during the time he spent last year [in the BLM protests in DC]”–likely because he didn’t experience any.
