South Carolina Dem Congressman Jim Clyburn, the guy who saved Biden’s candidacy with his endorsement in the 2020 primary race has endorsed Wisconsin Lieutenant Governor Mandela Barnes in the 2022 Senate race to take on complete piece of shit Ron Johnson (or whoever takes over the GOP nomination if RonAnon retires as he’s been considering), the Daily Beast reports.
“Mandela is hands-down the best candidate to defeat Senator Ron Johnson, expand our majority in the United States Senate, and deliver results for the people of Wisconsin” said Clyburn in a statement provided exclusively to the Daily Beast. Barnes’s counterpart in Pennsylvania, Lt Gov John Fetterman has a commanding lead in the primary for another flippable-for-Dems Senate seat.
