Montgomery County, Maryland fire department spokesman Pete Piringer says no people were injured when a home in Dickerson, MD was burned to the ground after the homeowner’s attempt to smoke out a “snake infestation” in his basement went horribly awry last Tuesday. “It is believed heat source (coals) too close to combustibles… status of snakes undetermined” Piringer tweeted.
