By 6-3 ruling, the US Supreme Court elected not to intercede to block implementation of the coronavirus vaccine mandate put in place by the State of New York for workers in hospitals and nursing homes, home health agencies, adult centers as well as hospices, CNN reports.
In deciding two suits file by three groups that claimed the vaccine mandate violated the rights of their members, the lawsuits were an attempt by conservative activists to block government mandates concerning the coronavirus.
Justices Samuel Alito, Neil Gorsuch and Clarence Thomas dissented.
