Donald Trump’s private jet experienced an engine failure about a half hour into his flight to Florida from New Orleans, where Trump had given a speech to a group of GOP donors on Saturday, but landed safely back in New Orleans, Politico reports.
The plane was a small private jet, not the Boeing 757 that was recently refurbished after sitting abandoned on a New York state runway for at least four years. Trump’s GOP babysitters were able to appropriate a plane from a Party donor so Trump wouldn’t have to fly commercial and hear boos and scorn from 150 people in an airliner.
