UAE Ambassador to the United States Yousuf Al Otaiba says they’re favor of boosting oil production and will encourage OPEC to consider higher output, CNN’s Becky Anderson reports. The apparent shift comes just a day after the Wall Street Journal reported Emirati and Saudi leadership were refusing to take calls from President Joe Biden for help easing oil prices over a range of grievances, including Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed Bonesaw’s desire for legal immunity for ordering the murder of Washington Post journalist Jamal Khashoggi in 2018.
