Orrin Hatch dies at age 88

Former US Senator Orrin Hatch, the longest serving Senator from Utah, died Saturday in Salt Lake City at the age of 88, the Deseret News reports. Hatch was first elected to the Senate in 1976 and finished his last term, his seventh, in 2019.
