A member of the British Conservative Party has been arrested and charged with rape, the Guardian reports on just the latest clusterfuck to hit the Tory clunges this year. The MP, whose name was withheld by authorities, has been banned from the grounds of Parliament (the fancy British word for “Congress”), though that’s academic because the London Metropolitan Police have the wanker in the lockup anyway. It probably won’t take long for other MPs and the media to figure out which member is absent and unaccounted for so stay tuned.
The arrest marks a shitshow of a 2022 for the Tories following the conviction of MP Imran Khan on charges of sexually assaulting a teenage boy, the resignation of MP Neil Parish after he was twice caught watching porn on his phone in the fucking Parliament chamber, in session, the suspension of MP David Warburton for US Republican-style coke orgying, a recent report alleging a direct line of cash from some Russian scumbag to the party’s coffers, and the ongoing travails of Prime Minister Boris Johnson holding parties during COVID lockdowns. Oh and some lib put a traffic cone on the former party leader’s head, but that happened last year.
