Federal authorities arrested Matthew Lee Comiskey of Palm Beach County, Florida for making interstate death threats against current Congresswoman and serial diner poisoner Lauren Boebert (Q-Colo.), The Guardian reports.
Apparently, Boebert’s well-advertised addiction to firearms did not prevent Comiskey from threatening to shoot her. If it actually occurred, it would not have been prevented by Boebert packing heat unless she saw the gun first, which is not a certainty given her frequently manic state.
The threats to Boebert were largely done on Twitter, and they were uncovered by a bunch of liberal college types at the Program on Extremism at George Washington University, who monitor social media for signs of fringe behavior.
One of Comiskey’s tweets read: “Someone needs to put Lauren down like a sick dog. She is a true waste of life! Someone exercise their second amendment right to her face! Since the [CIA] is a failure and [FBI] is incompetent at charging her for being a terrorist it’s time to do it ourselves! Pew pew Lauren.”
