Police report an active shooter at the Jacksonville Zoo, presumably a human. While the zoo was closed to the public today, a group was having a special event at the location and upon hearing gunshots, all attendees were rushed to a cafeteria where they were sheltering in place, Fox3 reports.
The shooter has not been located, and police have cordoned off the zoo, and they’re searching the area around the zoo in case the shooter had already fled the area.
